Q1. Do I have to book or can I just turn up to play?

A1. We always advise booking as we cannot guarantee availability if you
just turn up, especially during peak times.
Booking can be done via the website menu or by calling 01843 228632.

Q2. How many people can fit on one lane?
A2. The maximum amount of people per lane is 6.

Q3. How long will our game take?
A3. Each game takes around 10 minutes per person.
The length of time your bowling will take depends on how many people
are in your lane.
EXAMPLE – 2 people playing 1 game will take 20 minutes, 6 people will
take 1 hour.
2 games for 2 people will take 40 minutes and 6 people will be 2 hours.
Groups with young children, elderly or disabled guests who require
additional help may take a little longer.

Q4. I have a voucher, can I use this online?
A4. Unfortunately our online booking system does not support our game
vouchers/gift vouchers towards payment. You can pre-book your lane via
telephone and make sure you bring your voucher with you on the day.

Q5. Is there an age restriction?
A5. No, although we recommend a minimum age of 4 due to the heavy
equipment and risks involved.

Q6. Can I bowl if I’m pregnant?
A6. Of course! We just recommend that you take care when approaching
the lane to avoid slipping and you may feel more comfortable choosing a
lighter bowling ball such as a 6lb or 8lb ball.

Q7. Can I bowl in my own shoes?
A7. No, bowling shoes must be worn in order to bowl unless pre-authorised
by the management in special circumstances. Our lane area flooring is a
speciality flooring which can get easily damaged with grit/stones/gum
from outdoor shoes.
Bowling shoe hire is included with our bowling prices.
Disposable socks are available to purchase from reception.

Q8. What happens if I’m late for my booking, will I lose it?
A8. We always ask you to give us a call if you are going to be late for your
booking as a member of staff can advise you whether we can still fit you
in.
This will depend on how busy we are and whether we have the space to
accommodate your booking.

If you have booked multiple games we may have to remove games if
there is not enough time.

Q9. I booked online and can no longer make it, can I get my money
back?
A9. We can move your booking to an alternative time or date that may
be more suitable for you or one of our managers may be able to authorise
a refund if we are contacted no less than 24 hours before your booked
time.

Q10. Do you sell gift vouchers?
A10. Yes, we do. Gift vouchers are available to purchase in centre and
can be sold in any amount.

Q11. I have an allergy, what’s in your food?
A11. Our allergen information is available to view at our Diner counter in
centre if requested or can be given via email request. But please note,
while our staff make every effort to prevent cross contamination in our
kitchen, we cannot 100% guarantee that any of our food products are
free from any specific allergens.

Q12. Do you do Parties?
A12. Yes! In fact we have a Children’s party package and Adult party
packages!
